The Hungarian National Male Choir Latin American music evening

"What's in the Latin heart? Love, patriotism, cheerfulness for sure. The choir explores these three exciting and emotional themes with songs from Argentina, Brazil, Cuba and Mexico. The concert will feature evergreens that are now world hits, such as Besame mucho, Historia de amor, La Llorona but also Astor Piazzola’s Libertango. The program includes male chorus arrangements of these masterpieces, a true curiosity in the concert scene both at home and abroad. The male choir transcriptions of the music were composed by Attila Jeszenszky-Böhm, András Tóth, Ferenc Donigold and Richárd Riederauer, who has been the choir's director and composer for decades.
The choir is in the fortunate position of having two choir artists, Lima Thiago Bertoldi from Brazil and Manuel Betancourt Camino from Mexico, who help the choir to sing these songs as authentically as possible. In addition to the vocal soloists, a dance artist and an instrumentalist will also perform.
The motto of the Hungarian National Male Choir: "Voice, Heart, Power...". These words reflect the mood of the evening and express the most important message of the concert. Voice, which will be in no shortage thanks to the composers, Heart, which is essential to the performance of the songs and Power, which is guaranteed thanks to the 45 members. The Hungarian National Male Choir promises a truly memorable evening, fun and a unique musical experience.
